The SSI Advanced Open Water program lets you experience different types of diving and discover new underwater adventures. Complete 5 different Adventure Dives with an SSI Professional while building your skills and confidence. It is the perfect next step for certified Open Water Divers who want to explore more.
What you’ll do
The SSI Advanced Open Water program includes 5 Adventure Dives from 5 different SSI Specialty programs. You can choose from exciting experiences such as Deep Diving, Navigation, Night Diving, Perfect Buoyancy, or other available specialties. Each dive introduces you to new diving environments, skills, and equipment under the guidance of an SSI Professional. You can complete the program over 2–3 days, depending on your chosen dives and schedule. After completing all requirements, you will earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification and can continue your diving education through full SSI Specialty programs.
Before you start
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- SSI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
- Complete the required SSI medical and administrative requirements
- Some Adventure Dives may have additional age or certification requirements
